Who: Your instructors for this session will be Ommey (USA) and Hannah (NZL).

Ommey was born and raised in DC. He has danced all over the world and studied under the best instructors in the world. He has placed in competitions in Japan and in the United States. He was 4th in the International Lindy Hop Championships in 2012 and was a finalist in several competitions all along the East Coast. His philosophy for swing revolves around happiness, fun, and creativity. He truly wants all his students to have a good time and dance a LOT (in the class and on the social floor). His aim is to give you the confidence to rock out on ANY dance floor (and you will!).

Hannah had never heard of lindy hop before she was invited to classes by a friend. She was soon hooked, travelling around Auckland to any event that held some promise of danceable music. Swing oozed fun and energy. It was unpretentious with charm and old-fashioned style. When she heard that Seoul had the world’s largest swing scene her decision of where to teach English was made. Since arriving here three years ago she’s visited every swing bar and major event in the city and has become a familiar face at blues and balboa parties, too. In 2014 she placed first in the B&B Blues Jack and Jill and second in the Crazy Leg Lindy Jack and Jill. Don’t be surprised if she comes up to say ‘Hi’ on your first night of social dancing. She’ll make sure you feel welcome and find your feet in the scene.
